Maths Line Symmetry

Today on my zoom class, my group made a project with maths. We made a bunch of shapes that turned into a beautiful piece of art and it also had line symmetry.

Making a Terahedron

Today on my zoom class my group made a Tetrahedron. We needed a ruler, pencil, paper and glue stick. A Tetrahedron is a 3d shape. Today we made a triangle we also coloured it and wrote Faith, Hope and Love. This was a mix of R.E and Maths. First we made a line from zero to sixteen then we put a dot in the middle of the line. Then from the middle dot we lined sixteen centimeters and put a dot on top. Then we did the rest of the project.

Who’s Mintie Wrapper was the longest?

Cleo’s Mintie Wrapper was the longest because she took her time and she
made it thin. Her Mintie wrapper was 90cm. Also she didn’t rip it and she
probably didn’t have those tiny tears in the wrapper.

Who had the smallest Mintie Wrapper?

Kale had the shortest Mintie Wrapper because he probably ripped it early.
He made his 7cm. He also made it thick and didn’t take his time. He is
probably new to this challenge and hasn’t done it before in maths.

Who’s Mintie Wrappers the same?

Sione and Miss Virginia had the same. They both made theirs 65cm.
They took their time to make it longer but they might have ripped it half
way through. They also might of had those tiny holes that made it ripped.

Today I did prototec Maths I got a 60 out of 60.

My Prototec Maths Results

Today I did prototec Maths on stage 4. I got a 60/60. Next time I do prototec I want to get a another 60/60.

Symmetry Art

This is my Symmetry Art. I found my symmetry art easy because I traced it with my big pattern. I found the colouring hard because I couldn't see the segments that much. Next time I would like to create an easier pattern so that I can see the segments. I'm most proud of how the colours stands out.

Favourite Superheroes

In Room 1, Wonder Woman was the favourite Superhero. Seven students
liked Wonder Woman. This was due to the fact that Wonder Woman has a  
hard shining golden whip that burns villains and she is a woman. This was
closely followed by Batman then Spider Man. Five people chose Batman as
their favourite superhero. Three people chose Spiderman. The Hulk and Captain
America were liked by the same number of people. Two students liked the Hulk
and Captain America. These were the least liked super heroes.
